Raven and Kittens – Original

I was inspired by the original reference photograph because of the composition of these basic DSH cats lined up in a triangular shape. Reference photo came from Paint My Picture (PMP), a photo sharing site for artists. In this mixed-media work I used linen and explored the texture of the raw edges. I also used a graphite pencil for the lines, I found the lower contrast to be more pleasing than using a black ink.
